Low-Voltage Chaotic Oscillator With an Approximate Cubic Nonlinearity

چکیده
A compact eight-transistor grounded nonlinear resistor possessing cubic-like current-voltage characteristics and optimized for low-voltage operation ( 1.5V) is designed in a 2 CMOS process. The resistor is then incorporated into the wellknown Chua’s circuit and tuned to develop the double-scroll chaotic attractor. The inherent nonlinear behaviours of a singleended differential pair and simple current mirrors are used to shape the resistor characteristics.
